I have great news: I've been awarded a research council studentship for a PhD at Cambridge in biological anthropology. Without your support I would not have achieved this: the MRes was certainly essential preparation and qualification and I am extremely grateful that through the help of kind friends and strangers my own financial situation didn't prevent me from achieving my potential. So thanks again, from the bottom of my heart.

More good news today. Huge thank you to Eastoft Parish Council, who've awarded me a £250 grant for my MRes. :) 

I was at the BBC broadcasting house this morning filming an interview for BBC London news. Londoners can catch #MRes4Kez on the telly tomorrow at noon and at 6pm - and I will link you all to the iPlayer video tomorrow evening!

I would recommend this site to anyone looking to take on postgraduate studies. They have an excellent database of charities and trusts, which award small grants to student from particular backgrounds.
