We've reached our minimum!
Thank-you to all of our sponsors and supporters so far. This is an amazing milestone which means we can go to an external printer and do a limited edition run of Issue 1.
In the last few weeks we've received submissions from students, alumni, staff and friends from all over the world, covering everything from making edible architecture, working with indigenous peoples in Brazil, to mens fashion, and the judging of our logo competition is underway.
The next milestone for us to reach is £2750 - this will enable us to bring printing in house by purchasing a reconditioned A4 Risograph and two sets of colours. The advantage of this is that we can then offer super-cheap printing to other students who want to make pamphets, zines, catalogues etc.
The big number - £7500 - is for a reconditioned A3 printer which means we can offer even more formats, and do prints and other cool things as well to help raise money for student projects.
We've created a PDF factsheet for potential sponsors so you don't have to access this website every time you want to discuss options with your colleagues - you can access it here.
It's really important to us that the magazine is as inclusive, empowering and collaborative as possible, which is why we're seeking to do everything from funding to content with as large a community as possible. As part of this we've crowdsourced the key values which should form part of our identity & design philosophy and used them to launch a logo competition amongst our students and graduates (click here for high res):
