Cranio sacral therapy is an amazing gentle therapy that helps peoples own bodies repair themselves

Hello,

Thank you for taking the time to check out my Crowd funding Campaign.

I am trying to raise £5670 to fund my course at The College of Cranio Sacral Therapy in London.  I have completed the first stage, Anatomy, Physiology and Pathology, which was a prerequisite to enable me to enter the Cranio Sacral Therapy course which unfortunately has eaten up the small amount of money I had.

So What is Cranio Sacral Therapy?

Cranio Sacral Therapy is a Holistic Alternative therapy that uses light touch to enable the patient’s own body to repair itself without the use of drugs. It releases restrictions in the soft tissues that surround the central nervous system, alleviating a wide variety of dysfunctions.

Why I need your help and support

I am unable to get funding from the normal student funding bodies as the College is a private institution and I am unable to get a loan.

Why this is the path for me.

My Son Kyle was born very premature at 25 weeks and due to this he has many special needs including ADHD, ODD, ASD and problems with proprioception and sensory issues

He has been receiving Cranio Sacral therapy sessions for about 3 years now and has benefitted enormously and although it is not a complete cure it has helped to lessen the effects of his problems and enables him to lead a more normal daily life in mainstream school. If he did not receive these treatments he would be on a cocktail of drugs and possibly not attending school or in a special needs school where I feel he does not belong.

I am a passionate believer in natural therapies through my own experiences and in the knowledge of how it benefits my son. The many problems of being born premature can be helped using this therapy and with your support it is my intention to qualify as a practitioner so that I can help other children like Kyle to lead more normal lives, hopefully with less drug dependency and allowing their parents some respite from the worry and stress of dealing with the effects of their child’s disability.

Not least it will enable me to support my son and myself as he grows up.

You will see from the Rewards I am offering I will volunteer my time either at my own practice when set up, or another clinic in my area for children of families suffering financial hardship. I truly believe that all children should have access to a therapy that may help to bring them a happier and more comfortable life.
