Tonight's rehearsal was sounding wonderful if I do say so myself. Just a few weeks to go until our concert and it is certainly shaping up well.

Last night we had our sectionals - wind, brass and strings all split off and the music was looked into in massive detail. We will meet up next week to hear the improvement made! Just over a month to go until our concerts, the orchestra is getting excited.

This week we are having our sectionals - where each instrument family goes off to different parts of campus and works intensively on tricky passages. The result when we get back together the following week is always a marked improvement... we shall keep you informed!

Tonight was our first rehearsal back after the Christmas break - it was very exciting working on our program for the 12th and 13th of March. Sibelius, Elgar and Tchaikovsky!!!
