The Exeter University Chamber Orchestra (EUCO) is a small group of 25-30 young musicians who meet once a week and aim to produce a wide-ranging and high quality standard of music to share with the local and wider-reaching communities in concerts throughout the year.
The Tour
Every year, EUCO travels to a country outside of the UK, in order to share our music and enthusiasm with other communities. As well as experiencing the local culture for ourselves, we give free concerts in churches, community halls and schools for people in the local communities. This year, the orchestra plans to travel to Nice in April 2014.
How we will use your money
Our annual tours are funded by the members of the orchestra and through fundraising, to cover transport (including safe transportation of our instruments!), concert venues, and cultural activities. In today's financial climate, it has been increasingly difficult to raise funds for what is an extremely important event in our calendar, and a great opportunity to share our music with other cultures. Any contribution you are able to give will be very gratefully received!
