Please help us raise the funds for Wimbledon Costume Design's graduating degree show this June.

Hi and welcome to our fundraising page.

We are studying Costume Design at Wimbledon College of Art  and are hoping to raise £3000 for our degree show, a show that pulls together three years of hard work.

Wimbledon College of Art is part of the University of the Arts London and has a long history of teaching leading names in theatre and screen industries. Graduates from the Theatre & Screen courses at Wimbledon College of Art go onto work in film, theatre, television, dance and many more fields.

What we've been up to this year.

This year has seen us working alongside Windsor Castle, designing and making costumes based on objects from the State Apartments. January saw us put on a costume parade to showcase this work, alongside second year and Costume Interpretation students. In May we will be taking this work to Windsor Castle.

We have, and will also be working alongside visiting tutors such as leading choreographer Javier de Frutos, playwright and director Patricia Cumper and director and choreographer Simon Vincenzi.

It's an exciting year for us, so please help us showcase such a great year of work at our degree show.

Where the money will go?

  • A catalogue of work (£1000). Freely given at every years degree show, this catalogue is an opportunity for students to put a selection of images of their work and contact details together, in order to gain employment. It is also a souvenir of the show, that visitors can take. Printing costs of the catalogue will cost around £35 per student.

  • Food and Drink for Industry Night (£600)The most important night of our exhibition for the students will be the Industry Night, a night where we invite leading professionals from the countries theatre, film and television industries to view our work.

  •  Drinks for our Private View show (£450). The private viewing of our degree show will be taking place on the opening night, 18th June 2015, and is a chance for students to invite people to view their work. As is common practice at most private viewings, a limited amount of free drinks will be provided.

  • Material for the exhibition (£950).To actually build the exhibition we will have to purchase materials such as wood, paint etc. to put our work together.
