Hello Everyone

Thank you all for supporting my project by pledging and sharing my story. I'm glad to let you know that I have now successfully registered onto the BPTC.

I'm a firm believer that everything happens for a reason. So, although we didn't hit the £12,000 target - your contributions along with the scholarship were enough to secure my place onto year one of the part time course.

I completed the registration yesterday evening at City Law School and collected my first year course materials.

The part time BPTC will allow me the flexibility to balance studying with family life, work and seeking out further legal experiences. Although it will take me a little while longer than planned to get my call to the Bar, I will have all the benefit of undertaking the course at this pace.

Connect with me on social media and keep up with my progress.

Once again thank you all for your support - truly you have helped me along on my journey to becoming a barrister.

Kindest regards

Pamela Okende

It's only the end of the crowd fund...

So, here we are at the end of the campaign. Despite not reaching the the £12,100 target, this project has been a great success.

Each of you, by pledging and sharing have helped me raise £1451 for my BPTC tuition fees. That's amazing and without your support I wouldn't have raised this much.

If you are wondering what next - rest assured that this is not the end of my dream. Now more than ever - I am really determined to undertake the BPTC and qualify as a barrister.

Enrolment is on 21 September 2015 and a lot can happen between now and then. After all what do we have without faith and hope?!

Everything raised will go towards the fees!!

When I do go and enrol, a piece of you all will be with me and for that support I am eternally grateful.

Watch this space for the forthcoming final update...
