Short film for Uni to be sent to Festivals

A short summary of your projects

This is a short film project for University which will be sent to festivals after completion.

The film is based on the attacks on Charlie Hebdo in Paris this January and the discussions it sparked around freedom of speech.

It will follow a young cartoonist who, after hearing about the attacks, starts realising that she too is a public figure. She then gets more and more paranoid and obsessively sees a threat in every little detail until the paranoia finally takes over completely.

Who are you?

We are Kingston University filmmaking students in our second year.

Your story

This film covers very current events and approaches the topic of freedom of speech and religious or cultural prejudices in a very sensitive matter.

We feel it is important to address this topic while it is still present.

Where will the money go?

The money we receive will go entirely into the production of the film.
This includes:
- renting a location (£200)
- renting equipment (£150)
- travel reimbursements for actors (£80)
- in the event that we receive the full amount, we may pay our actors a small amount (£70)

Rewards

Depending on the amount you donate we might credit you as an 'Executive Producer'!
