The College
Central Saint Martins is an internationally renowned centre for Art and Design education with an excellent reputation based on the creative energy and achievements of its students, staff and graduates.
The Course
Performance Design and Practice aims to challenge the assumptions and territories of this diverse and expanding sector. Exploring theatre, film, video and live art, with an emphasis on experimentation and collaboration. The above showreel is composed of work by students in our year group and illustrates the variety of practice within the course.
The Exhibition
The final year for the students culminates in a Degree Show that runs from the 17th - 22nd of June. The event is an opportunity for us to share our finest work with a prestigious audience and take our first step into the professional world. This year we are particularly excited about the fact that we will be sceduling live performances throughout the degree show, allowing the audience a chance to experience the work as it was intended to be seen.
We need your support
Every year students are faced with the daunting task of raising the funds to stage this high profile exhibition and execute it in a way that does the three years of hard work justice.
This year we have given extensive time and energy to raising these funds through a variety of different means including building and running our PDP photobooth….
Despite our best efforts we have still not managed to raise enough to cover all the costs and this is why we need your help!
Budget Breakdown - The funds raised from your pledge will go towards;
- The production of the catalogue, a public record of each students practice, and an important link between graduating students and potential employers. (£2000)
-The preparation of the exhibition spaces, labels, paint etc. (approximately £300)
- Catering for the private view. (approximately £200)
