Design School Funding Dilemma at the RCA

A PROUD STUDENT AT THE RCA, LOOKING FORWARD TO GRADUATE IN 2017!

Hello Everyone!
This is to fund my (extremely expensive) graduate programme at the best design school in the world (as per QS 2015 rankings). I'm indeed one of the fortunate ones to be a part of the GlD programme which is an intensive 2-year double masters' course that encompasses all aspects of design over 3 continents. This is extremely exciting and exceedingly scary for an international student.

I'm Sreelakshmi and I LIKE TO CREATE GOOD EXPERIENCES..AND MAKE THINGS..AND TAKE PHOTOGRAPHS..AND..

With a background in interaction design, I took up this course as it would most definitely make me a 'better' designer. With a lot of prayers, an amazing support system among family, friends and well wishers and with my fingers crossed, I started my graduate school in July 2015.
4 months and I still love it. That makes me believe that my decision was right!

MONEY, MONEY, MONEY...ISN'T FUNNY :/

With this I aim for a part of the second instalment (of my first year fee which is £30400. )

For the rest of the instalment (15200 GBP - 8000 GBP = 7200 GBP) and for my living expenses, I hope to raise funds through internships and freelance.

Rewards

Being a User Experience Designer for the better part of the last decade, I think delightful experiences, especially for positive actions, are close to being mandatory! I assure that my reward will speak of how the RCA is making me a better designer!

More about me

What's this illustration you can see?

'Saraswati' is the Goddess of learning according to Hindu mythology. In my illustration here, She looks sad and wields a Mandolin (instead of a 'Veena'). This was done as a tribute to the legendary musician Mandolin U Srinivas. Education, Music and Culture being of utmost importance in my life, this image speaks more of what I am and what I need over a video message!
