Morning everyone!

Thank you so much for generous donations to help me on my way.

I've received a generous cash donation this morning (THANK YOU!) and so the total is now £2218 so just £782 to raise by MIDNIGHT today!

This is a last call to action! Please could you help to spread the word on Facebook and Twitter - every £1 will help me towards the £3000 target that I need to reach in order to receive all the pledges - by MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!

… Take me to the bridge! … Battersea Bridge I hope xx

Thank you very much for your kind support xx isobel xx

Thank you everyone who has pledged so far - with your generous support I've raised £1798, that's amazing!

There's 3 days left for me to find a £1202-shaped miracle. I hope I'm going to make it, can you help with a last BIG SHOUT-OUT on social media/in real life to help me get to £3000? All support is greatly appreciated, I'm still hoping to enrol at RCA on Tuesday xx isobel xx

£1298 pledged so far and 5 DAYS TO GO! You can pledge from just £1- EVERY LITTLE HELPS xx

I'm pulling out all the stops - keeping the faith that I'll make my target by Sunday.

HUGE thanks to everyone who's donated, it's incredible to have got this far!

So today I'm rehearsing for 'Biting the Dust' my solo show with fantastic soundtrack by Foz Foster, at SUSPENSE Festival 1st + 2nd November, at Camden's People's Theatre, London. I've found Raoul (the fox) looking spooky in a tesco's carrier bag! About to track down Violette and Grandma - and all the props. I'll be sending the posters to print soon, ready for the show and to sign and send out as rewards.

It's the last Monday of this campaign, just 7 DAYS to go. Very exciting, very scary, what a journey!

I had totally underestimated how wonderful, and humbling it feels to be supported on this journey by dear friends, and how it adds up! I can't believe I've received pledges for £1285, it's really really amazing, thank you all xxxx

I'm going to be working hard to get to £3000 by SUNDAY! That's the amount I need for Hubbub to release the pledges made. A bit of a way to go still so any help you can give me in spreading the word by FB, twitter or actual conversations would be brilliant. I'll be emailing, tweeting, FBing and as the week comes to an end - taking to the streets with a megaphone and collection tin!

I hope to be welcoming some of you for tea cake and puppets at my workshop here in Firle, others at the next Flying Club coaching session - just some of the rewards for sponsoring my campaign.

Thank you x isobel x

Thank you everyone who has sponsored me so far xx I can't believe I've reached £760!

There's not long to go and I'm chasing press contacts and companies I have worked for in the past - hoping to reach my minimum target of £3000 in the next 12 days!

Please share if you can and let me know if you have any genius ideas for making my target. Thank you so much xx is xx

I thought I'd show a selection of the images I took to my interview for RCA. They're all self-portraits an attempt to photograph my subconscious - the camera never lies!

Thank you so much to the lovely generous people who have sponsored me so far.

I'm hoping a bit of each of your magic will flavour my studies xx

Thank you too to all my supporters for helping to spread the word about my campaign, it's really helping and I'm very grateful xx

I thought I'd show you RYBKA, he's a puppet I made for a music video for Liz Green's song called RYBKA - check out her dark and beautiful lyrics, here's a link: https://youtu.be/1XcIwUmrOGU  I hope you enjoy it.

When I'm not wearing my puppeteers hat it's a flying helmet for me!

When I'm not making my own work I'm passionate about championing other's creativity through my Flying Club Creative Coaching sessions, it worked for me, and it could do for you too.

I'd love to see you at one of my sessions, or if you sponsor me £100 or more you get to HELP ME (which would be brilliant - thank you!) and HELP YOURSELF TOO (which would be absolutely fantastic!). There are lots of other GREAT REWARDS for my sponsors listed along side my 'Pitch'. Every £ helps xxxx

Here's a picture of me launching myself into my new Royal-College-powered life - with your kind help:

It's a funny old life!

I studied Graphic Design BA (Hons) at Central Saint Martins School of Art graduating in 1988.

Then worked as a designer at Penguin Books, London until I was hospitalised with glandular fever and had to give up my flat, job and London life and return to York to convalesce. I really did sleep for a year, just crawling across the landing to the toilet from time to time, and existing mainly on tangerine jelly and custard.

While my parents worried I was very content, my current artistic practice is an attempt to re-visit the strange and vivid dreams I experienced during my illness-induced sleep. Real life never quite matches up.

By pulling new meanings from familiar objects, subverting and ritualising everyday routines, I avoid the horrors and drudgery of ‘Too Much Normal’ that I believe contributed to my illness.

I know that creativity is a powerful antidote to depression and illness and am keen to share that message through my artistic endeavours and creative coaching.

I returned to London, then Brighton, but it took a magnificent mid-life crisis at 40 to set me properly on my artistic puppety way.

Now, aged 48 with two children, an artist husband and mortgaged up to the hilt, I am ready to truly begin!

Please support my HUBBUB campaign and follow my progress, help spread the word, or pledge funds. ONLY 19 DAYS TO GO! x

The picture is of Duende, a puppet I made for my show: 'Thinking it and Fainting' which I developed during a fantastic Puppet Centre Residency at Nuffield Theatre, Southampton. We follow Duende's story as she evokes the spirits of everyday objects, demanding their compliance as she negotiates a multitude of household chores. You can see how I got on on my company website - Grist to the Mill.
