My Project

Hello everyone, I'm here trying to raise money so that I can go to Leeds Trinity University to study journalism. I have tried conventional methods and they have not worked, so therefore I have arrived here and hopefully you will chose to help me by donating to my cause and if you do well thank you. It truely means a lot to me.

Who are you?

My name is Joseph Davey and I am 18 years old. I studied business and science btecs at college and I was able to get top marks in business and average marks in science.

Your story

Business is what I am passionate about however college helped me with the basics and also more of the complex elements that business offers, sowhy am I planning on doing journalism at uni? Well as I was doing my business course at college I decided that I wanted to make a business, however this would be unlike anything else, what I decided I wanted to do was to make a student magazine that was specifically designed and tailored towards students, informing them of what they really needed to know. Because let's face it secondary school and college doesn't really help students in the sense of understanding banks, mortgages, rent, tax, etc...

Therefore I applied for journalism to help with that side of the business that I had in my head and hopefully when I get to uni, I might be able to make the business I have in my head a reality.

Where will the money go?
£9000 will go towards my tuition fees for my first year.
The rest of the money, £6000 will go towards halls, food, equipment, general things needed for uni.
