WHO WE ARE
We are the Bullets! An American Football team that plays for the University of the West of England. As a team, we face off against Bristol every year in the Varsity series, and look to continue winning this event, and our division. We continuously make it to at least the quarter-finals of the nationals, and our aim is to make it to the final, year after year. We are a team that strives to be the best for each other, and for the sport. At the end of the day, we are not just a team, we are a family. We are the Bullets.

WHAT WE ARE DOING
We are taking part in a "Cycle around the world" challenge to help raise money to pay for the team's new kit. The new kit will help protect our players from major injury, and will let them enjoy the sport more, knowing they are well protected. We hope to push the team harder this year to become the best we can be, and make it to the finals of the national cup.
To complete this mamoth task, the team will be using gym bikes, cycling throughout the summer, and players will be taking pictures of their progress to show that they hit their individual targets. Some of the players who can't get to gyms will be using bicycles and will cycle to work, or cycle in their spare time to make up their miles. We will then have one big final push over the last few days at UWE Centre for Sport, where anyone is welcome to come to support and watch us hit the big target of 24,901.55 miles.
To break that down:
40+/- players cycle 24,901.55 miles
Each player will need to cycle 622 miles
WHAT WE CAN DO FOR OTHERS
When we came up with the idea, we felt we could be doing more. More to help not only ourselves, but the people around us. Everybody understands how important charities are and the great work they do around the country and even the world. That is why any funds we raise above our target, and from other sources, will go to MacMillan Cancer Research. The work they do is incredible and many of us are affected by Cancer both indirectly and directly, and for the UWE Bullets the effects will always be close to our hearts.
